Umiya Chemicals was established since 1990. At first the owner of Umiya Chemicals Mr. Anil C. Barot studying in college and during this period he was marketing the solution of sodium hypochlorite. At first, He was demonstrate how to sodium hypochlorite and what are benefits of using these chemical in small municipality of the Gujarat State and suburb areas near to it. For this work he was travelling through bicycle carrying 35 liter of drums. After that he thought hoe to use these chemical to operator to tube wells in municipal region. In 1993 he started the production of product by taking a plot in Mehasana G.I.D.C. at the same time he got the Food and Drug Control Administration license of Gujarat from Gandhinagar.
